CURRENT EDUCATIONAL REFORMS IN UKRAINE WITHIN THE FRAME OF PEDAGOGICAL REFLECTION

The article reveals that current reforms in the education system of Ukraine attempt to address latest social challenges and fulfil priority tasks assigned by legislative executive branches government, particular, regarding improving effectiveness settings martial law changing dynamics spread coronavirus disease pandemic country. study specified a list requests expectations state civil society for field education, Law ‘On Education’ (2017) viewed through prism views both now future practising educators. Based on opinions focus group participants key positions Conceptual basis reforming secondary school comply with concept ‘New Ukrainian School’, carried out ranking respondents’ timeliness educational innovations. It also identified those topics require additional clarification, including decentralisation, autonomy institutions, reform implementation schedule, introducing new structure, etc. research clarified leading attitudes educators, their needs Ukraine, including: respect teacher, trust from society; real academic freedoms (the right choose form organization, technologies teaching methods, etc.), pedagogical creativity; digitization general education; decent wages, adequate transparent financing institutions; debureaucratisation; support rural schools teachers, equal access high-quality extracurricular countryside; assistance training/retraining personnel implement changes especially wartime conditions.
